Jager

Jager needs a forever home. He is around 5 years old. House broken. Loves ball. He would benefit from someone who will put in the time to train him. He is a German Shepherd, one of the smartest breeds, and thrives from training. Someone who knows the breed would be ideal for him. He would love a yard to run in to play ball. He attaches to his person, and is very loyal, he seems to get along best with women!

He will need an experienced dog owner because he has displayed resource guarding when it comes to high value food. This can be managed and avoided and we would be happy to pay for a session with a trainer for the new adopters.

From his first foster: He loves running around outside playing with his ball, going for walks, and eating the frozen lick mats his foster mom makes him. He likes to eat food out of a puzzle too! He is a very smart boy who is eager to learn. His foster parents already taught him to sit & paw in a short time! They're working on more with him. Jager is a good boy in the car.

Jäger is your guy if you want a smart and loyal companion by your side (literally, ALWAYS by your side... don't think you can get up or go to the bathroom alone!)
