Who We Are
Here at Waggy Butts & Happy Mutts, we are a no-kill, 100% volunteer-based dog rescue dedicated to saving the lives of dogs in need. We rescue dogs from overcrowded shelters and provide temporary, loving homes through our network of dedicated fosters until each dog finds their forever family. Being foster-based allows us to give each dog personalized care and better understand their needs, ensuring the best possible match with adopters.
Every dog in our care is fully vetted, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, and any necessary medical treatments.
Located primarily in New Jersey, we have fosters and adopters throughout NJ, PA, DE, and NY.

TRIAL-ADOPTION
Our "Waggily-Ever-After Preview" Program lets potential adopters do a free trial-run before finalizing the adoption, ensuring a perfect match for both you and the dog with no strings attached!
In some cases, we offer itt if you're ready to adopt, but the dog needs additional vetting before making it official.

We operate based on donations. We are constantly striving to do more for dogs in our community, and part of that endeavor includes being careful with the donations we receive. Your donation will help us save more animals by providing food, supplies, veterinary treatment, and other resources needed to continue saving animals in need.
